Rain is expected Saturday prior to kickoff.

FOXBOROUGH, MA - The game may be dry, but early tailgaters might be a bit wet.
With a day to go before the New England Patriots’ playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Weather Channel says the rain will fall in Foxborough, but the bad weather should leave by kickoff.
The forecast for Saturday calls rain throughout the early hours and morning. Some rain is still expected when the parking lots at Gillette Stadium open at 12:30 p.m., with light rain occurring at 1 p.m.

At 2 p.m., the forecast says there is a 20 percent chance of rain, with the odds decreasing as the day goes on.
At 4 p.m., a half hour before kickoff, a temperature of 30 degrees is expected with cloudy skies and a 10 percent chance of rain.
