Gillette Stadium Brings in Record Revenue for Foxborough
The last year in revenue beat the previous record by $1 million, according to Town Manager Bill Keegan

Foxborough, MA — Fiscal year 2016 was nothing short of a success for Gillette Stadium revenue.
Town Manager Bill Keegan told the selectmen at a recent meeting that reven
ue was up 34 percent over last year and beat the previous high set in 2014 by $1 million.
“It was a very successful year and based on what we’ve seen planned over the next year it’s going to be another successful year,” Keegan said.

Keegan attributed the increase to events such as the NHL Winter Classic and the Copa America tournament. Next year, the NCAA lacrosse championships return to Foxborough and more international soccer matches are expected.
In other stadium news, the board approved the license for the 2016 New England Patriots season. The license covers the preseason, regular season, and any potential postseason games.
