Gillette Stadium Networking Helps Clear Foxborough Schools Roofs
Thanks to some networking between the town and the stadium, the roofs of the Taylor and Burrell Schools were cleared.

With worries about the amount of snow on the roofs of Foxborough schools, business manager Bill Yukna told the Foxborough School Committee on Monday that all areas of concern have been cleared, with a little help from Gillette Stadium.
Yukna said that the town received help with the snow removal process after building commissioner Bill Casbarra placed a call to Gillette Stadium looking for a contractor. The networking resulted in a crew of over 10 people from ValleyCrest Landscaping & Maintenance working on the Taylor and Burrell Schools over the weekend.
“That call up to their maintenance group gave us that contractor because most contractor are tied up,” Yukna said. “They are the ones that maintain (Gillette Stadium) and Patriot Place as well. They obviously have resources and they came though.”

Yukna added that the Taylor and Burrell Schools were the main worries with the weather due to the construction and condition of the roofs. Over the weekend, the crews spend nine hours removing snow. Once the snow was off the roof, the DPW removed the snow from the area.
Due to the stronger steel used in the building, Yukna said that he was not worried about the High School or Ahern School.
