GoFundMe For Family Of Murdered Foxborough Child Nears Goal

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A fundraiser to help the family of Anthony Scaccia is nearing its goal.

As of 7 p.m. Monday night, the Memorial & Funeral Fund for Anthony has raised $9,390 of its $10,000 goal. The GoFundMe page was created by local resident Pat Larkin.

Scaccia was laid to rest Friday. The 6-year-old was killed by his father Sept. 22 as part of a murder-suicide. Funds from the campaign will be used to assist Scaccia's mother Laurie Tolliver. Larkin wrote on Sept. 29, "We are so close to reaching our goal to help Anthony's mom Laurie with those final expenses. Please continue to share so we can reach that amount as soon as possible. Thank you all for your continued support and compassion during this most difficult time."
