Rob Gronkowski Retiring? Final Super Bowl Wrap-Up
Post-loss rioting leads to arrests, a hero is most certainly gone, and one local teen becomes internet-famous.

Here's one final look back at the Super Bowl:
Gronk Out?
Rob Gronkowski had another outstanding game: Nine catches, 116 yards, 2 touchdowns. It almost didn't happen after he missed much of the past two weeks recovering from a concussion suffered in the AFC Championship Game. And, according to Gronkowski, it may never happen again, either.
The 28-year-old tight end said he is considering his future in football. "I'm definitely going to look at my future, for sure. I'm going to sit down the next couple of weeks and see where I'm at."

Whether that's the sting of a heartbreaking loss speaking or the the culmination of major injuries to his knee, forearm, and back - in addition to other other ones - it's clear Gronkowski needs some time to think. He could retire in his prime and go down as possibly the greatest tight end of all time.
Sad Exits
There are some clear farewells for the Patriots. Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and defensive coordinator Matt Patricia are expected to take head jobs elsewhere. And after last night, there's really no question the Malcolm Butler's strange ride in New England is over.

The Super Bowl 49 hero never saw the field Sunday night, despite being dressed. Coach Bill Belichick and Patricia danced around why an visibly emotional Butler never played while the Patriots defense deteriorated all night long, but Butler told ESPN's Mike Reiss, "They gave up on me. F--- it."
Many were blaming Belichick's questionable coaching decisions for the close loss to Philadelphia. Nothing confused fans, media, and players like the benching of Butler.
Rioting ... For Some Reason
Six people were arrested and more injured in a post-Super Bowl brouhaha at UMass-Amherst. The university released a statement saying about 2,000 gathered on the Southwest residential plaza at the end of the game. The area was cleared about an hour later thanks to state and local police.
The school's paper says at least the school is known for something.

Timberlake's Hingham Connection
Ryan McKenna, 13, is going to have a lot of questions when he returns to his Hingham school. Like how in the world he became internet-famous after a selfie with Justin Timberlake.
Trump's Tweets
The Eagles were America's team Sunday night. But the Patriots are still Donald Trump's team, despite a less public connection than in the past. Still, Trump took to Twitter after the game:
Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles on a great Super Bowl victory!
