The Hall at Patriot Place to Host Playoff Huddle Q&A on Saturday, January 3

The event will feature former Patriots assistant coach Dante Scarnecchia, ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss and Radio host Scott Zolak.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots clinched the number one seed in the AFC playoffs with a Week 16 victory over the New York Jets and earned a first-round playoff bye for the fifth consecutive season. While the team will be busy preparing for its AFC Divisional Round playoff game on Saturday, Jan. 10 at Gillette Stadium, fans can still enjoy Patriots football during the playoff bye week with a visit to The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon.

On Saturday, Jan. 3, The Hall will host the “Playoff Huddle,” an hour-long question and answer forum featuring former Patriots assistant coach Dante Scarnecchia, ESPN Boston’s Mike Reiss and former Patriots quarterback and current Patriots Radio Network color analyst Scott Zolak. The trio will answer fan questions about the team from noon to 1 p.m. inside The Grand Hall. Guests will be able to attend the Playoff Huddle Q&A with their admission ticket to The Hall.

Scarnecchia, who retired last January, coached 32 seasons in the NFL, including a franchise record 30 seasons with the Patriots (1982-88, 1991-2013). Scarnecchia was on the Patriots coaching staff for 18 of the franchise’s 22 playoff seasons and coached in 39 of the 43 playoff games in team history, including each of the team’s seven Super Bowl appearances. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick named Scarnecchia the team’s assistant head coach/offensive line in 2000, a position he held with the team until his retirement. Scarnecchia was an offensive line coach for 28 of his 44 seasons in the coaching profession.

Zolak, a former Patriots quarterback (1991-98), is in his third season as the color analyst for the Patriots Radio Network on 98.5 The Sports Hub. Zolak also hosts the midday “Gresh and Zolak Show” on the radio station and co-hosts WBZ-TV’s “Patriots All Access” and TV38’s “Patriots This Week.” He has served as an analyst on Channel 4’s “Patriots Gameday” and “Patriots Fifth Quarter” for the last 13 seasons and has been a frequent guest on Comcast SportsNet New England.
