How Did Foxborough do at the Falmouth Road Race?

Sunday morning, over 10,000 runners made the 7-mile run from Wood’s Hole, up the coast of Falmouth to Grand Avenue at Falmouth Heights Beach as part of the 43rd annual Falmouth Road race.

Among the finishers were 45 runners from Foxborough. 19-year-old Ian Kelly was the fastest Foxborough resident with a time of 45:35. Marianne Mealey was the fastest Foxborough woman with a time of 49:08.

Kenyan international runner Stephen Sambu was the overall winner, crossing the finish line with a time of 32:17. Diane Nukur of Burundi won the women’s division in 36:47.
