How Does Foxborough High Compare to Other High Schools in Massachusetts?

The school's stats were released as part of U.S. News and World Report's 2015 Best High Schools report.

U.S. News and World Report have released the 2015 edition of their Best High Schools survey along with statistics of every school in Massachusetts.

Foxborough was unranked by the publication with Sturgis Charter Public School in Hyannis taking the top spot.

These are Foxborough’s vital stats, according to the survey:

  • 13:1 student-teacher ratio (near state average)
  • 38.6 college readiness score (above state average)
  • 88 percent proficiency in math (near state average)
  • 96 percent English proficiency (near state average)

The national high school graduation rate is at an all-time high, according to U.S. News.

“As educators work to get even more students into caps and gowns, they are experimenting with innovative instructional methods,” U.S. News said. “Through specialized class work, high schools are facilitating teen entrepreneurs and published authors, for example. Plus, there has been a renewed interest in career and technical programs.”
