How Valuable are the New England Patriots?

There’s no doubt that the New England Patriots have significantly increased in value since Bob Kraft bought the team in 1994 for $172 million, but just how much are the Patriots worth now?

According to Forbes Magazine, the Patriots are now the second most valuable franchise in the NFL, trailing only the Dallas Cowboys.

Currently, the team is valued at $2.6 billion, brought in $428 million in revenue during 2013 and had an operating income of $147 million.

In third place is Washington with a team value of $2.4 billion. The New York Giants and the Houston Texans round out the top five with values of $2.1 billion and 1.85 billion.
