Improvements at Foxfield Route 140 Entrance Remains Uncertain

The proposed renovation of Foxfield Plaza will likely be approved, but the state has not agreed to improve the entrance for the plaza off of Route 140.

Planning Board Member Bill Grieder told the Foxboro Reporter of the recent development, noting that making the entrance safer is a key part of the renovation.

State Rep. Jay Barrows, who represents Foxborough, said he is looking into bringing Foxborough, Mansfield, Norton, the planning authorities in Bristol and Norfolk Counties, and the state’s Department of Transportation’s highway division together to look at the issue.
