Hand Injury Keeps Tom Brady Out Of Practice
The quarterback didn't practice despite making an appearance during warmups.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Despite a sighting at Gillette Stadium, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady did not practice with the team Thursday.
The latest injury reports lists Brady with a right hand injury and notes that he did not participate in practice. Brady was seen during the media portion of practice, with gloves on both hands and something bulky around his thumb.
Media members were only allowed to watch warmups and did not see Brady perform any throwing drills or exercises.

Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald reported Wednesday that the quarterback jammed his throwing hand after someone accidentally ran into him at practice. An x-ray showed no structural damage. Sources told Mike Reiss of ESPN Thursday that Brady's hand should be ok.

As long as the injury does not keep him out of a game, he'll liekly play in Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, his seventh straight appearance in the contest.

Brady is scheduled to meet with the media Friday.
The only other Patriot to miss practice was offensive lineman LaAdrian Waddle. Defensive lineman Alan Branch and running backs Rex Burkhead and Mike Gillislee were limited.
