Jackknifed Truck Blocks I-95 Near Exit 8

SHARON, MA - Drivers on Interstate 95 should expect delays this evening.

At about 4:38., a truck jackknifed on the southbound side just past exit 8 according to MassDOT. The left lane is currently closed.

As of 5 p.m., traffic is in the teens right before the accident and is going under 10 miles per hour prior to the Route 140 connector, according to the WBZ traffic map. Traffic returns to normal speed at the ramp to I-495.

The closed lanes reopened at 5:30 p.m., with speeds around the crash ranging from 28-40 mph.
