Jim Blake to be honored by Boys & Girls Club of Brockton Gala

James W. Blake, President and CEO of HarborOne Credit Union, will be this year’s Honoree at the Boys & Girls Club of Brockton 2011 “Black Tie and Tennis Shoes” Gala on Thursday, May 19th, 2011 at the Shaw’s Center in Brockton.

Blake has played an important role in the community for many years. He has made a positive impact on the lives of many individuals and families through his efforts both at HarborOne and through the many nonprofit organizations which he supports. Among those directly affected are the young men and women of the Boys & Girls Club of Brockton. Blake has not only understood and supported the club financially, but has also provided valuable assistance and guidance.

The “Black Tie and Tennis Shoes” Gala provides the club with an opportunity to highlight its work as well as to showcase and to honor Blake.

For this year’s event the Club’s goal is to raise $300,000 which will allow the club to meet its unrestricted operating needs as well as to cover the event expenditures.
