FOXBOROUGH, MA — The Partners in Patriotism Fund, the Kraft Group's community nonprofit arm, is looking for Foxborough residents to serve on the grants committee.
The grants committee consists of 13 town residents, who each serve a three-year term term on a volunteer basis. Committee members review grant applications and meet monthly to vote on where money is spent in their own community.
Since its inception in 2014, the Partners in Patriotism Fund has awarded nearly $420,000 in grants to the Foxborough community, including more than $118,000 to Foxborough residents in need of financial assistance. According to Kraft Group spokesman Jeremie Smith, most of the money over the last four years went to Foxborough public schools and athletic programs.
