Lack of Volunteers Could Shut Down Community Farmstand

The group is asking residents to help cover shifts at the stand.

Foxborough, MA — A lack of volunteers could shut down the Foxborough Community Farm Stand.

Sunday, the group wrote on their Facebook page that if they are unable to fill volunteer time slots, they will be unable to keep the stand open.

The stand has been open for 23 years and provides food and items for the discretionary fund, which helps over 200 local families.

"The farm still will have to close if we can not fill the time slots with volunteers to keep it running. You can help one day or once a week or as much as you can. Every slot filled is a huge help," the group wrote.

The farm stand is located near the intersection of Walnut Street and Route 140.
