Lakeview Pavillon Weeks Away from Reopening

The function hall will hold their first wedding since the infamous 2014 fire in September.

Over a year after a fire destroyed Lakeview Pavillion, the popular function hall is ready for a comeback.

After celebrating the groundbreaking in November, Lakeview is only weeks away from their first wedding since the blaze. On Sept. 4, the first wedding will be held in the new building with owners Anastasia Tsoumbanos and Natalia Kapourelakos putting the final touches on the new building.

Tsoumbanos recently told ABC Providence that her and her sister have been waiting 8 months for the reopening and cannot wait for Lakeview to be alive again.

The new building will be bigger than the previous one and includes two ballrooms, vaulted ceilings, and breathtaking chandeliers.

At the groundbreaking in November, Tsoumbanos said the building will be 25,000 square feet and will keep the best qualities of the old building.

Despite not having a building since April of last year, the reservations are pouring in. In the first two weeks after reopening, Lakeview Pavillion will host six weddings.
