Lost Hikers In Foxborough Saved

A pair of hikers in the state forest lost their way Sunday.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Two lost hikers inside the Foxboro State Forest were saved by firefighters and police officers Sunday evening.

Fire Capt. David Healy told the Sun Chronicle that they received a call reporting the two lost women at 6 p.m. Responders were able to ping one of the hiker's cell phone and told the women to stop moving.

The women were located after they heard a police siren and saw a fire truck's strobe light. The two were found by 6:37 p.m.

Both women were in good spirits and alright aside from some cold toes.
