Man Charged With Foxborough Hobby Store Break-In
According to police, the suspect stole $7,200 worth of radio-controlled cars from Hobby Quarters in Foxborough.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A Bourne man was arrested, who police said broke into a hobby shop last Saturday and stole $7,200 worth of radio-controlled cars. Andrew Darby, 29, was charged with larceny, malicious destruction of private property, and breaking and entering. He will be arraigned in Wrentham District court at a later date.
Around 7 a.m., last Saturday, police were called to Hobby Quarters, located at 30 Commercial St. for a report of a break-in. Police said store security footage showed Darby leaving with several high end, radio-controlled vehicles.
After posting photos of the surveillance footage to Facebook, police told the Sun Chronicle they received several tips, which led to the identity and whereabouts of Darby.

Police said Darby was arrested Tuesday at home when officers from Foxborough, Bourne, and Wareham executed a search warrant. Evidence including five radio-controlled vehicles, other stolen items, and a hammer were found inside Darby's home, police said.
