Man Who Hid Cameras At Foxboro Daycare Gets Added Jail Time
Darrin McNeil, 49, was convicted of secretly recording seven women inside a Foxborough daycare bathroom.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — A Taunton man serving time for a child pornography conviction had another year added to his prison sentence after he pleaded guilty to secretly recording seven women inside a Foxborough daycare bathroom. Darrin McNeil, 49, who was working as an electrician, was convicted of 15-count indictment which said he used pens with cameras installed in them to spy on women at the Learning Experience at 121 Main St., the Sun Chronicle reported.
According to police, McNeil was arrested May 18, 2018 after a staff member discovered the camera and called 911. Officers said they seized three other pen cameras from McNeil besides the one discovered in the bathroom. None of the cameras seized had video of children at the daycare, police said.
But police said they then searched McNeil and found other pen cameras that had video of a naked young girl, which led to McNeil's sentencing for child pornography last April. McNeil's child pornography conviction included a three to five-year prison sentence.
