Mansfield Man Caught In Foxborough With Deadly Weapons, Drugs: PD

Foxborough police said they seized 38 ounces of pot, liquid THC, a double-edged dagger and a set of brass knuckles with a blade attached.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A Mansfield man was arrested after police said he was caught with marijuana, THC vials, and two deadly weapons. George Johnson, 23, was charged with two counts of carrying a dangerous weapon and distribution of a class D substance.

At 9:10 p.m. Friday, police pulled over Johnson on Main Street. During the stop, police said Johnson reached behind the backseat into the trunk and tried to hide his backpacks.

Police said they searched Johnson's car, opened the backpacks and found 38 ounces of marijuana, 13 vials of liquid THC, a double-edged dagger and a set of brass knuckles with a blade attached to them.

Johnson was arraigned in Wrentham District Court Monday
