Martinelli Field Dedication Ceremony Set For Aug. 27

All members of the public, especially former players, coaches, and supporters of the Foxborough Warriors are invited to the event.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Later this month, Ahern Field will be named after the man who has spent over 30 years walking its sidelines.

The naming ceremony for Jack Martinelli Field is set for Aug. 27 at 11 a.m. The event will consist of a dedication ceremony and cookout. Due to the expected costs of $30,000, organizers are now attempting to raise the money needed for the event.

A GoFundMe page for the event has raised nearly $5,600 as of Aug. 8 with a goal of $20,000. A grant from Partners in Patriotism is covering about $9,700 of the costs.
