Michelle Carter On Boyfriend's Suicide: 'I Could Have Stopped Him'
The prosecution is done, but the defense is expected to present a motion to dismiss Friday morning.

PLAINVILLE, MA — A Plainville woman bragged in a text that she could have stopped her boyfriend, who she allegedly convinced to kill himself, from taking his own life.
In a text message to a friend read in court Wednesday, Michelle Carter said of her boyfriend Conrad Roy's death, “I could have stopped him. I was on the phone with him and he got out of the car because it was working and he got scared and I (expletive) told him to get back in.”
Several friends testified that Carter said she heard Roy slowly die over the phone, according to WFXT.
