Missing 9-Year-Old Boy Found In Foxborough

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A young boy from Mansfield caused a scare Sunday after going missing.

Over the weekend, the Mansfield Police Department posted a photo of the missing 9-year-old from Franklin Street. Following a brief search, the boy was found by a woman in Foxborough.

"We want to thank everyone who follows our social media for their assistance. With your help, we put the young man's photo in front of thousands of eyes in less than 30 minutes. Additionally, we spoke with other folks who took it upon themselves to get in their car and drive around looking for him. These actions speak volumes to the heart of this community in which we're privileged to live and work," Mansfield Police wrote on Facebook.

The boy has since been returned home.
