New England Patriots: Blankets OK For Jets Game, Drones Not
The Patriots are reminding fans to bundle up if they're going to Sunday's game against the New York Jets.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — It's going to be cold when the Patriots play the Jets Sunday afternoon and when we say cold, we mean possibly historically cold.
With the National Weather Service expecting a high of 14 degrees at kickoff and a dip into the single digits likely, the New England Patriots are advising fans to bundle up if they are going to the game Sunday. Blankets will be allowed into the stadium, but fans should have blankets folded and draped loosely over an arm at the entrance for easy inspection. Hand and feet warmers are allowed and encouraged, but the use of battery-operated heated clothing is not allowed.
The NWS is also forecasting a northwest wind of 7-10 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

All other security measures, such as the drone ban and the clear bag policy remain in effect.
The game is likely to be among the coldest in Gillette Stadium history. The Jan. 10, 2004 playoff game against the Tennessee Titans had a wind chill of -10 and remains the most freezing home game in team history.
