New England Patriots Get Date For White House Visit

The team will head to Washington DC next month.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The New England Patriots will visit the White House next month.

White House Spokesman Sean Spicer announce Thursday that the team will meet with President Donald Trump April 19.

The lead-up to the trip has been highlighted by the announcement that some players including Devin McCourty, Martellus Bennett, and LeGarrette Blount will skip the trip. Dont'a Hightower said he will stay behind because he's gone before as a member of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

On the other hand, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have often been name dropped by the president and Robert Kraft has been seen by Trump's side, most recently appearing on Air Force One.
