New England Patriots NFL Schedule 2023: Big Games, Primetime Slots

The Patriots take the field along with the rest of the NFL this week. Here are the days to mark on your calendar for the upcoming season.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The stakes are high in New England at the beginning of every NFL season, but there's a case to be made that they're even higher entering the 2023-2024 season.

Head Coach Bill Belichick is closing in on the all-time wins record in the wake of Tom Brady's departure and a rocky start to the Mac Jones era in Foxborough. The team will also try to right the ship on offense after a bizarre year of playcalling, but it'll be challenging in one of the league's most stacked divisions.

Game one comes on Sunday against the reigning NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles at Gillette Stadium starting at 4:25 p.m. The team will honor Brady on Sunday during what's likely to be a highly charged event.

As for the rest of the schedule, the slate features five nationally-televised games, including the Pats' Week 10 regular season home game in Frankfurt, Germany on Nov. 12 against the Indianapolis Colts.

The game will be the Patriots' first in Germany as part of the 2023 National Football League's International Games.

The first nationally televised game will be in Week 2 when they host the Miami Dolphins on Sunday Night Football.

Their last three primetime games will be played in consecutive weeks for the second straight season, beginning Thursday, Dec. 7 when the Patriots travel to Pittsburgh to play the Steelers. The Patriots will return home to host the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football on Dec. 18. The final scheduled primetime game will be played at Denver at 8:15 p.m. ET on Christmas Eve on NFL Network.
