New Town Hall Cost Could be Lower than Expected

Bids for the project have come in and they're lower than expected.

FOXBOROUGH, MA - Bids for the new Town Hall have come in lower than expected.

Permanent municipal and school building committee Chairman Bill Yukna recently told the Sun Chronicle that bids for subcontractors have come in around $250,000 below estimates. Combined with potential savings in general contractor bids, the project could end up over $900,000 below estimates.

The 13 bids were the most ever for a town project, according to Yukna.
