Foxborough Regional Charter School's 'Operation Flag Day'
Foxborough Regional Charter School grade 5 students are implementing "Operation Flag Dag."

Today, the United States honors it's National symbol, the . We also honor today and everyday our American soldiers who are fighting tirelessly so we have the freedom to fly our flag.
The family of U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Jerome Hanley of Foxborough is heading up an initiative in town to supply his unit with protein bars, white socks and underwear. The supplies will be shipped to the unit every two weeks from Town Hall.
Hanley, a 2006 graduate of Foxborough High School, is recovering from wounds suffered last month in an attack by insurgents in Afghanistan. His unit, the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, Scout Sniper Team 1, was deployed to the Middle East in February.

Foxborough Regional Charter School grade 5 students are implementing "Operation Flag Day" to help with collection efforts. Students are collecting protein bars and white socks for our troops in Afghanistan through Monday, June 20.
