UPDATE: Power Restored In Foxborough

FOXBOROUGH, MA — About 8 percent of the town has lost electricity. At 1:14 p.m., 1,075 homes were without power, according to National Gird's outage map. That number was down to 480 by 1:30 p.m.

The Foxborough Police Department says the outage was due to a downed wire near the Interstate 495 overpass on Spruce Street.

All repairs were made by 3 p.m., ending the outage.
