Partners In Patriotism Donate Warmups, Camera To FHS Girls' Hoops
The Partners in Patriotism Fund recently donated $2,225.26 to the team to purchase a new camera and equipment and warm-ups.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Foxborough High School girls' basketball coach Lisa Downs may have recently gotten her 100th win, but the team has more to celebrate.
The Partners in Patriotism Fund recently donated $2,225.26 to the team to purchase a new camera and equipment to film their games and warm-up suits for each member of the team. Downs said the new camera will be the team's first since she became coach six years ago. She said that she would like to purchase a new memory card, carrying case and tripod to use during the season.
The warmups will be the first time the team has had team warm-up sweatsuits.

“Our team emphasizes the importance of togetherness and perseverance, to which we credit the success of our previous seasons. Together, this team has played an international team, won the Hockomock League twice in three years, acquired a sectional championship, and earned a trip to the TD Garden. Warm-up suits would be a great way to show our solidarity and unity as a team. They would display our closeness as a team and our shared love for the game,” team captain Shannon Smally said.
Partners in Patriotism Fund Grants Committee Chairman Jimmy McGowan added, "“The Partners in Patriotism Fund is proud to support the Foxborough High School girls’ basketball program as they look to build off of a very impressive 2016-17 season. We wish the Lady Warriors the very best of luck the rest of the season and will be cheering them on in what looks like will be another very special season in Foxborough.”
