Partners In Patriotism Donates $1,000 for 5K Superhero Dash
The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 29.

From Partners In Patriotism: April is Child Abuse Awareness Month and the Norfolk Advocates for Children (NAC) is hosting its inaugural 5K/Kids Superhero Dash to raise awareness in support of child abuse prevention and to assist local children who experience physical, sexual and domestic abuse. The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 29, at the NAC facility located at 12 Payson Rd. in Foxboro.
To help offset the cost of Sunday’s event, the NAC recently received a $1,000 grant from the Partners in Patriotism (PIP) Fund. The event features a 5K run along with crafts, more than 35 raffle prizes and activities for children. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes with a prize being awarded for the best costume.
Individuals can register to participate for $25 and teams of four people can register for $75. Children 12 and under can participate for free. All registered participants will be timed and will have access to their results after the event. Those interested may register here.
