Patriot Place Building Coming Down For Mixed Use Medical Office
The project will require some overnight work, which was recently approved by the selectmen.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Things are changing down at Patriot Place, as evident by the fact that a building will come down for a new medical structure.
Tuesday night, the selectmen approved overnight construction work that calls for the demolition of Building K and construction of a five-story mixed used building. The soon to be demolished building is adjacent to the Brigham and Women's/Mass General Health Care Center and was once the home to Express before their move to the former Reebok space.
Retail and restaurants will make up the first floor, with medical officers and general offices taking up the rest of the building. Town Manager Bill Keegan called it a reflection of the market and part of a regional emphasis of taking medical services out of Boston and into the suburbs.

“This is rather unique. I’m actually pleased to see the morphing of the development with the changing of the times,” Keegan said.
The site plan was approved by the planning board in August.
