Patriot Place To Host 7th Annual Chili Bowl Cook Off
Patriot Place restaurants will be serving up their best chili in the seventh annual Chili Bowl Cook Off on Saturday, April 14.

From Patriot Place: Patriot Place restaurants are serving up another helping of their best chili in the seventh annual Chili Bowl Cook Off on Saturday, April 14, at Bass Pro Shops to benefit the Hockomock Area YMCA’s Reach Out For Youth and Families Campaign.
The ultimate chili bowl event kicks off at 1 p.m. and will feature chili sampling from 10 Patriot Place restaurants competing for the coveted Judges and Fan Favorite awards. A panel of celebrity judges will award the top prize for best chili and an additional Fan Favorite award will be given to the restaurant that receives the most votes from guests in attendance.
Admission is $5 (free admission for children 5 years old and younger) with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Hockomock Area YMCA’s Reach Out For Youth and Families Annual Campaign. The Y kicked off this year’s campaign at Gillette Stadium on March 16.

“The annual Chili Bowl Cook Off is among our most popular events of the year at Patriot Place and we are looking forward to another helping of fun and fundraising in partnership with Bass Pro Shops to benefit the Hockomock Area YMCA and their mission to enrich the lives of people in need in our communities,” said Patriot Place General Manager Brian Earley. “We have another great event planned this year for people to come and enjoy many of our restaurants’ best chili, meet cast members from ‘Wicked Tuna’ and give back to a tremendous cause. It’s the perfect recipe for fun.”
“We are grateful for our continued partnership with Patriot Place and Bass Pro Shops and for all they do for our Y and the local community,” said Ed Hurley, president of the Hockomock Area YMCA. “We look forward to this fun, family event each year. Our YMCA is committed to partnering and collaborating with others to make lasting, life-changing impact in the communities we serve. Funds raised from this event provide confidential scholarship assistance, giving Y experiences including summer camp, child care and teen programs to local children and families in need.”
