Patriots Announce Open Auditions for Cheerleaders
Women 18 and over are invited to try out for the squad on Feb. 28 at the Ahern Middle School.

Women looking to become a member of the New England Patriots Cheerleaders will have their chance next week in Foxborough.
The Patriots will hold open auditions for the 2015 squad on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the John J. Ahern Middle School. Registration begins at 10 a.m.
Women auditioning must be least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.

Last year’s team included an aspiring biomedical engineer, a physical therapist and a psychology and neuroscience professor, as well as an accountant, a dentist and a social worker. Candidates must first complete an online application via the Gillette Stadium website.
Candidates will be taught choreographed dance routines and will be given an opportunity to perform a freestyle combination. They will be judged on dance ability, showmanship, image and level of physical fitness.

Judges will narrow the field to 40-plus participants to be invited back for final auditions on Saturday, March 14. The 2015 squad will be comprised of approximately 28 members.
