Patriots Honor Veterans With Temporary World War II Memorial, Ceremony
The memorial, highlighted with a Veterans Day ceremony at Gillette Stadium, was done as part of the NFL's Salute to Service campaign.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — The New England Patriots honored veterans of two wars during the week of Veterans Day in 2022.
Team officials unveiled a temporary World War II memorial at Patriot Place during a ceremony on Nov. 2 and, on Veterans Day, hosted a ceremony at Gillette Stadium for veterans of the Vietnam War.
The memorial was part of the NFL's Salute to Service campaign, according to Patriot Place officials, and is on display through Monday.

According to CBS Boston, Robert Kraft was among the team officials on hand for a Veterans Day ceremony that honored Vietnam veterans.
"You all here today represent 2.7 million men and women who served in Vietnam but once again who didn't get the right welcome you needed when you came back here," Kraft said, according to CBS.
