Josh Gordon's Season Over, Placed On Injured Reserve
Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon's season is over after injuring his knee in the team's 35-14 win over the New York Giants.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The New England Patriots have placed wide receiver Josh Gordon on injured reserve, ESPN reported. His season is over after injuring his knee in the team's 35-14 win over the New York Giants on Oct. 10.
Gordon was Tom Brady's No. 2 receiving option. That role will likely be assumed by Mohamed Sanu, who the Patriots traded a second-round draft pick this week.
Gordon played in six game this season after returning to the team in August after violating the league's substance abuse policy last December. He finishes the season with 20 receptions for 287 yards and a touchdown.
