Patriots Lock Up AFC Playoffs Top Seed
There will be no football in New England next week, the Patriots got a bye!

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The New England Patriots won't have to do any traveling for the duration of the AFC Playoffs.
The Patriots locked up the top seed in the AFC and home field advantage throughout the conference playoffs with a 26-6 win over the New York Jets. New England finishes the regular season with a 13-3 record and will enjoy a bye before hosting an AFC Divisional Round game the weekend of Jan. 13-14.
The Patriots will play the lowest seed to advance out of Wild Card Weekend. The Pittsburgh Steelers will take the second bye.

New England controlled the game from wire to wire, with quarterback Tom Brady throwing for 190 yards and two touchdowns. On the ground, Dion Lewis ran for 93 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries, along with 40 yards receiving and a second touchdown.
New defensive signee James Harrison had two sacks, three tackles, and a forced fumble.
