Patriots Make a "Friendly" Partnership
Friendly's Ice Cream and New England Patriots join forces

Friendly’s Ice Cream announced today it is the “Official Ice Cream and Family Restaurant of the New England Patriots.”
Fans can expect to see signs of the the new Friendly’s partnership at the first preseason game on Friday, August 15, where the Patriots will host the Philadelphia Eagles.
“We are excited to partner with the New England Patriots, an elite family-owned sports organization, that regards its community in the same way that we do,” said President and CEO of Friendly’s Ice Cream, John Maguire in a statement. “At Friendly’s, we pride ourselves in helping our guests make great memories and we look forward to working with the Patriots to create many more memories for their fans.”

This new alliance will bring benefits to both companies. From in-stadium promotions and signage, to Patriots Cheerleaders and mascot, Pat Patriot, making appearances at Friendly’s public events.
Friendly’s customers will also have the opportunity to receive tickets to Patriots home games, passes to pre-game tailgate parties and pre-game field visits with Pat Patriot.

Starting Monday, September 8, kids will eat free at Friendly’s the day after a Patriots victory. The upcoming in-store promotion, “Patriots Win —Friendly’s Kids Win, Too”, will allow one free Level 1 kid’s meal for every adult entrée purchased.
“Everyone loves Friendly’s,” said Murray Kohl, Vice President of Corporate Sales for the New England Patriots in a statement. “We enjoy teaming up with partners who are embedded in the New England community.”
Friendly’s was founded in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1935, and the company has been serving New England customers for generations. Friendly’s is now distributed in more than 8,000 retail locations.
“The partnership of the two brands is a perfect fit and we look forward to future collaborations that will benefit each of our customers,” said Kohl.
