Patriots Player Denied Entry To Costa Rica; Allegedly Had Drugs

Authorities say the Patriots play brought 58 grams of marijuana into the country.

A member of the New England Patriots was denied entry into Costa Rica after authorities allegedly found 58 grams of marijuana in his suitcase.

Patriots safety Duron Harmon was arrested at Juan Santamaría International Airport just outside of San Jose on the eve of Holy Week. Irving Malespín, director of the Fiscal Control Police, told La Nacion that the arrest came following routine work and review of flights coming in from the United States. Harmon had come to Costa Rica out of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

In addition to the marijuana, police allegedly found three pipettes with marijuana oil, one THC confection and four glass containers containing compressed marijuana.
