Patriots Practice Squad Player Charged with Indecent Assault on 2 Women
Police say Jimmy "J.J." Worton punched a man and grabbed the buttocks of two women while leaving Waxy O'Connor's Irish Pub.

A member of the New England Patriots practice squad faces indecent assault charges after an incident at a Foxborough restaurant.
Jimmy “J.J.” Worton was charged with two counts of indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 and over and one count of assault and battery, according to the Foxborough Police Department
At 1 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a report of an assault at Waxy O’Connor’s Irish Pub, according to a police report from Officer Stephen Easter. Dispatch told Easter and Officer Scott Taggert that two wanted individuals had left in a gray colored vehicle. While at the rotary near the police station, the officers were able to locate and pull over the vehicle.

Initially, the driver and two passengers in the back said they were coming from Boston, but Worton and a second person admitted to coming from Waxy’s several minutes later according to the report.
Meanwhile, witnesses at Waxy’s told police that Worton allegedly assaulted a male and accosted two females before fleeing in a grey vehicle.

Worton told police that he accidently brushed against a woman while leaving the establishment and was confronted by the woman’s boyfriend. Worton said he attempted to run away but punched the man in self-defense.
Worton was taken into custody after the two female victims were able to identify him as the man who accosted both of them by grabbing their buttocks.
This isn’t the first time Worton has gotten in trouble. In 2012, he was arrested for punching a cop at the University of Central Florida, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
