FOXBOROUGH, MA — While everyone was steaming about the Bruins Thursday night, the Patriots dropped a bit of bling. New England revealed their sixth Super Bowl championship ring - the largest Super Bowl ring ever - during a ceremony at owner Robert Kraft's house.
Each ring has 422 diamonds weighing 9.85 carats. They boasts six trophies, representing the team's dynastic run, and the trophies are surrounded by 108 diamonds, representing the number of practices the team had. There are 20 blue sapphires for the team's 20 AFC East division championships.
There is the 13-3 score Super Bowl score and logo, as well as the "Still Here" slogan the team adopted in the face of doubters. The name and number of each player is on his ring, also.
