Patriots vs. Browns and Tom Brady's Return: What You Need to Know

The New England Patriots will look to get back in the win column this Sunday when they
travel to face the Cleveland Browns.
After a 3-0 start, the Patriots lost last Sunday at home, 16-0, to the Buffalo Bills. Since the
beginning of 2003, the Patriots are 40-6 (.869) in regular season games following a loss.

This Sunday’s game is the first of three straight games against AFC North opponents for
the Patriots. New England will return to Gillette Stadium following the Cleveland game to host
the Cincinnati Bengals on Oct. 16 and then travel to face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Oct. 23.
The Patriots will round out their schedule against the AFC North when they host the Baltimore
Ravens on Monday Night Football on Dec. 12.

Kickoff Time
The Browns and Patriots are scheduled to play at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
Television and Radio Information
TELEVISION: This week’s game will be broadcast by CBS and can be seen locally on WBZ-TV
Channel 4 in Boston. Greg Gumbel will handle play-by-play duties with Trent Green as the
color analyst. Jamie Erdahl will work the sidelines. The game will be produced by Jim Rikhoff
and directed by Suzanne Smith.
NATIONAL RADIO: This week’s game will be broadcast to a national audience on Westwood
One Sports. John Sadak and Mike Mayock will call the game.
LOCAL RADIO: 98.5 FM, The Sports Hub, is the flagship station for the Patriots Radio
Network. Play-by-play broadcaster Bob Socci will call the action along with former Patriots

Brady's Back
Not that you needed to be reminded but Sunday will be Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's first game back following a four-game suspension for his alleged role in the Deflategate scandal.
Series History
The Patriots and Browns will meet for the 24th time overall, including one postseason
meeting, when the clubs square off on Sunday.
The teams will be playing against each other for the first time since a 27-26 victory by the Patriots at Gillette Stadium on Dec. 8, 2013. It will be the Patriots first visit to Cleveland since losing, 34-14, at FirstEnergy Stadium. That loss was one of only two losses the Patriots had during the 2010 regular season.
Cleveland leads the all-time series with a 13-10 mark, including the one postseason game when the Bill Belichick-led Browns claimed a 20-13 victory over the Patriots on New Year’s Day, 1995 in a Wild Card Playoff game at Cleveland’s Municipal Stadium
The Patriots are 4-8 overall in games played in Cleveland, including a 2-2 record at Cleveland Browns Stadium. Cleveland is 5-6 all-time against the Patriots in games played in New England, including 0-3 at Gillette Stadium following losses in 2003 and 2007. Overall, the Browns have lost four straight times in New England.
