The 11th Annual Foxboro Against Diabetes 5K Run/Walk in memory of Shannon E. Hurley began on Neponset Street in Foxborough on Saturday, June 4.

The event proceeds benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) in Hurley's name. JDRF is a worldwide leader in diabetes research and is the largest charitable funder of and advocate for type 1 diabetes research.

The Post Race Event was held at the Lafayette House on Route 1 in Foxborough.
