PHOTOS: Thousands Race To Finish At The 50 At Gillette Stadium
About 5,000 people took part in the two races and more came to see the fireworks!
FOXBOROUGH, MA — Nearly 5,000 runners started their 4th of July in style by running the Finish at the 50 5K/10K at Gillette Stadium Monday evening.
The two races gave runners an opportunity to complete in one of the more unique races around. Runners in the 5K raced around the stadium property before entering the stadium and running up the ramp near the Bank of America entrance to the 300 level before running back down and finishing on the field.
The 10K race took runners on a tour of some of the Foxborough backroads including North Street, Beach Street, Edwards Road, and Young Street, before ending inside the stadium.
