Planning To See The Patriots At Super Bowl LII? It Will Cost You!

If you think the prices are bad, wait until you see the flight and hotel situation.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Let's say you're still in the glow of another exciting New England Patriots AFC Championship win and you want to follow the team to Super Bowl LII in Minnesota, stop, take a breath, and realize that it's not going to be cheap.

As of Monday morning, the cheapest ticket for the big game is $4,900 for a ticket in the top of the top corner of U.S. Bank Stadium, according to SeatGeek. That includes fees and SeatGeek says it's a good deal so there's that.

To get into the middle level, that will be at least $6,000 and the lower bowl will cost you $6,100. There's also a second-row seat at the 50-yard line going for $47,800, the most expensive seat available.

On the bright side, it could be more expensive. While the average price is hovering around $8,000 with a get-in price near $4,000 according to TicketIQ, it could have been over $10,000 by now if the Vikings beat the Eagles.

If you're a Patriots season ticket holder, this means nothing if you got lucky and won the ticket lottery. According to a selection letter posted on Reddit, a ticket from the team will cost $975 and can only be purchased at the Gillette Stadium box office with a certified check or bank cashier's check. The winners can buy no more than two tickets.

So now you got your ticket, how are you going to get there? A quick look at Google Flights shows that if you arrive on Feb. 2 and leave the day after the game, you're looking at roundtrip flights between $700-$1,600, with the exception of a $528 ticket on Spirit Airways, but the bad news is that you have to fly Spirit.

As for a bed? Hope you got friends or family in the area because everything is just about booked.
