Police Use Stun Gun on Foxborough Man Charged with Disorderly Conduct at Canobie Lake Park

Police say that Randy Lewis started screaming profanities when he was refused a refund during a rainy Saturday night.

A Foxborough man who allegedly yelled profanities and threaten Canobie Lake Park employees when he was refused a refund now faces disorderly conduct and trespassing charges.

Police say that Randy Lewis, 32, demanded his money back early Saturday evening due to a thunderstorm. An employee explained to Lewis that he could not receive a refund since the park was not closing, but Lewis stated that there would be a “thumping” if he did not receive a refund. Lewis then proceeded to yell profanities at the park’s employees.

Park security and Salem police advised Lewis to leave the park, but Lewis clinched his fist and stared down the officers according to police.

After failing to leave on the advice of police and family members, Lewis was placed under arrested after a struggle which involved the man curling up on the ground and placing his arms under his body. The Foxborough resident was handcuffed after the use of a stun gun.

Lewis was released on $2,500 bail and must appear before the 10th Circuit Court District Division in Salem on Sept. 28.
