Rob Gronkowski Burglary Trio: 1 Avoids Jail
Eric Tyrrell is not allowed near Rob Gronkowski's Foxborough home after being found guilty of pawning stolen coins for $3,550.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A Foxborough man police said pawned stolen antique coins from Rob Gronkowski's home while he was in Minneapolis for last year's Super Bowl has avoided jail. Eric Tyrrell, 29, was sentenced to two years probation after pleading guilty last week in Dedham Superior Court to two counts of receiving stolen property, the Sun Chronicle reported.
Tyrrell also cannot come near Gronkowski's Foxborough home or near the victim, Gronkowski's housemate. Tyrrell wasn't charged in the break-in on Feb. 4, 2018 but was identified after he sold the coins to a Weymouth pawn shop for $3,550, police said. His lawyer's argued Tyrrell didn't know the coins were stolen.
The cases against the two men accused of breaking into Gronkowski's home are pending.
