Quincy Man Arrested After Fleeing Traffic Stop: Foxborough Police
A Quincy man attempted to get away from a traffic stop, but didn't get far, police said.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A Quincy man attempted to get away from a traffic stop, but didn't get far, police said.
Elizer Saez, 29, was arrested Monday and charged with failing to stop for police, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, marked lanes violation, speeding, resisting arrest, wanton destruction of property over $250, and a number plate violation, according to the Foxborough Police Department.
At about 10:06 a.m., Saez was pulled over by Sgt. John Chamberlin Summer Street by East Street. While Chamberlin ran Saez's information, the Quincy man allegedly drove away towards Mansfield and ended up on Judge Brown Lane, a dead end street. The vehicle then went over a curb, onto the front lawn of a residence and, back onto Summer Street, causing officer Mark Bohnenberger to take evasive actions with his cruiser.

The vehicle then proceeded to drive off the roadway and into a fence at Jak’s Corner Store. Saez then allegedly fled into the woods and jumped over two fences. He made it 150 yards before Chamberlin caught up with him and placed him into custody without further incident.
A K9 unit assisted at the scene.

Saez was arraigned in Wrentham District Court Tuesday.
