Registration Opens For Finish At 50 Road Race In Foxborough

The annual race that finishes at the 50-yard line of Gillette Stadium returns for the 11th time following last year's cancellation.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Registration opened Thursday for the Harvard Pilgrim Finish at the 50 Road Race taking place at Patriot Place on Friday, Sept. 3.

The popular annual race that finishes at the 50-yard line of Gillette Stadium returns for the 11th time after the coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellation of last year's event. A portion of the proceeds from the race will be donated to the New England Patriots Foundation to be allocated to a variety of health-related initiatives across New England.

Registration for the 5K race is now open at FinishAtThe50.com. Children age eight and under will also be able to participate in the 50-yard Kids Dash for just a $10 registration fee, which also benefits health care initiatives.

Youth runners ages 9-17 are encouraged to register for the 5K race for $25. The Kids Dash will take place on the stadium field at 5 p.m. and will allow children to experience the thrill of running a 50-yard dash at Gillette Stadium. Due to seasonal and timing constraints, the 10K Race will not be offered this year but is slated to return in 2022.

The 5K is run entirely on the Patriot Place campus beginning at 6 p.m. and includes the ramps inside Gillette Stadium before entering onto the field through the south end zone tunnel.
