Residents Asks Town To Remove Pats' Flag From Common
Two residents told the selectmen that they think it's inappropriate to have the team flag flying at the Common with the American flag.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The New England Patriots logo has flown high above the Common all year long but now two residents have asked the town to remove the flag of the Super Bowl Champions.
Tim McCarthy and Ronald Rogers, who said he is a veteran, told the selectmen and Town Manager Bill Keegan Tuesday that they believe it is improper to have the flag flown along with the American flag.
The men said said their request has nothing to do with members of the team kneeling before a game two weeks ago but they're more concerned with the appropriateness of a business' flag being raised with the stars and stripes, according to the Sun Chronicle.

Keegan said he checked in with Veterans Agent Michael Johns before raising the flag and was told that there wouldn't be a problem with the team flag.
